The 13th edition of the International Conference on Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST 2014) brought together researchers and practitioners from 49 countries to discuss social inclusion and political engagement with science. With 507 registrants, the event was held from 5th to 8th May at the Convention Center of Hotel Pestana in Salvador, Bahia
Science communicators from 50 countries already confirmed presence at the 13th International Public Communication of Science and Technology Conference (PCST 2014), on 5-8 May, Salvador, Bahia (Brazil).
Carried out for the first time in Latin America, the conference is a huge international forum for discussing and sharing issues and experiences related to the practice and to the research on science communication.
It will be a “marathon” of science communication, with plenaries and 13 simultaneous sessions. In total, 100 sessions are confimed, in different modalities (painels, performances, individual comunications, Shows and tells, workshops and posters).
The conference is organised by the Museum of Life /Casa de Oswaldo Cruz/Fiocruz and the Laboratory for Advanced Reseach in Jornalism /State University of Campinas.
Deadline for submissions are concluded. But delegates can still register for participating (with no presentations).
